Well I spent this winters maintenance time on refinishing the exterior and the deck of the Almar. She is ready to go and will be back in her slip next week ready to run trips.

We will be running bottom fishing trips though April weather depending.
May will be halibut/bottom fishing .
June will be a mix of Coho-Halibut-Bottom fishing.

Its shaping up to be a decent year with quotas being favorable. Hit us up open dates if you're looking to get out and fill up your freezer.

I think Shasta would rather be out fishing then supervising me painting the cabin.

I usually spend the winter on boat maintenance. This winter the Almar is getting some fresh Zolotone sprayed on it. Being outside most its life took a toll on it. I am not going lie. It was a big job and I am not a fan of painting. Next year I will over coat the floor with more Matson nonskid and she should look pretty good.

Put in a quick tuna trip yesterday. Really nice grade of fish out there now. Hopefully the salman are ready to play tomorrow. The weather should be good.

Bob and his friends took two days worth of coho limits home to the BBQ with some bonus ling cod and a halibut. Fun times with great weather.

Brought the Almar back to her summer home. We will be running bottom fishing,halibut, tuna and salmon trips now through the first week of October. This boat is outfitted with all new top shelf electronics from Simrad to get us on the fish. 2025 is going to be great year. Hit us up if you're looking to get out on the big blue pond and want to fill your freezer.
