I typically avoid rework but this opportunity was interesting. Client had an old huge corner cabinet that they wanted reworked into a regular hutch. They only brought me the facade so I built fresh the rest of the cabinet from cherry, deleted the drawer from the front and put it all together - highlighting the handcut nails in the original wood.

Recently had the privilege of building some really interesting tables for using old tugboat equipment! The base is built from their slings and ratchets used to tie barges together and the top is black walnut with a maple inlay of their logo.
