The Last Dance!
Every once in a while I receive a thank you card from couples that I have DJed their big day. I didn't expect to receive one from Paige and Ben as I was only a 12 hour blink in their lives. It was awesome that they did reach out to me so I could share this experience with their permission.
Usually at the end of a wedding dance I ask everyone to come share one last dance with the couple before we say good night and head home. For Paige and Ben's wedding they asked that everyone leave the reception hall completely so they could have their last dance all to themselves. They asked me if I would capture the moment for them. They asked me a complete stranger to be with them in this moment. Not a professional photographer, not a family member, not a part of their wedding party...Me! Reading the thank you card and seeing the images of them on the floor will hands down go as one of the coolest moments I've ever experienced over 19 years of DJing weddings. PS they also had Qdoba cater their wedding meal. So good and very unique! Thank you Paige and Ben for letting me celebrate with you on your big day.
2022 will be my "Last Dance". I will be retiring after next year from the wedding industry. If you or someone you know is in need of a wedding DJ please reach out to me.
