We are pleased to announce that Sadayaa Smith has joined Strongwell as Systems Engineer, reporting to the Corporate Director, Information Technology.

Sadayaa earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from Western Governors University and has a strong background in IT, with experience in both public and private sectors. Prior to joining Strongwell, she served as a Network Administrator at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Bristol and as a Network Technician for the City of Kingsport.
She was born in Johnson City, Tennessee, where she currently resides with her two dogs, Maxx and Enzo. Outside of work, she enjoys playing video games, staying active at the gym, and reading.

This week's education outreach highlight comes from Chatfield. Over 150 students recently dropped by Strongwell’s table at this year’s Chatfield High School annual career fair. Students were directed to ask questions about manufacturing, career paths, and won giveaways. A huge shout out to Aaron Duncan (Pultrusion Coordinator) who manned the setup, table, questions, visitors, and giveaways for the event.

This week's featured case study is within the transportation and infrastructure sector. A county bridge was deemed deficient when its steel deck load rating dropped from 10 tons to only 4.3 tons.
