For over 13 years I have made several products for my family and friends. When my youngest was an infant, I needed a more gentle laundry soap than the store bought detergents we were using. After a little fiddling with the diy recipes I found online, I settled on the all natural laundry soap recipe that my family continues to use today. It's gentle enough for a baby's delicate skin, and strong eno

Solid lotion bars, healing balms, lip balms, facial spritzers, sugar scrubs, mosquito repellents, cleaning supplies, haymaker's punch, and fire cider. I have dehydrated, frozen, and canned goodies from my raised garden beds. After I make any given product, I usually have more than enough for my family and friends, so...that is what I will be offering here...Limited quantities of products will be available. I will post each item along with any information needed, such as ingredients and directions for use. In recent years we've added elderberry rows to our back acre. So now, we offer elderberries, syrup, and gummies. Disclaimer: Gypsymadekitchen does not offer a cure for anything, but makes products with ingredients that have many health benefits. 🌶60 jalapenos...both recipes below🌶

🌶(6) 6 packs of poppers
🌶(6) 4 packs of poppers
🌶(12) 1/2 pints of cowboy candy

🌶Jalapeno popper recipe🌶

30 jalapeños
(3) 8 ounce packs cream cheese
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
8 ounces crumbled bacon
1 tablespoon ranch seasoning

Cut the jalapenos in half stem to end
Core out the white flesh and seeds
Mix all of the other yumminess together
Stuff the jalapenos, do not over fill
Put all of them on a tray and freeze overnight
Once frozen, put into package and into freezer

🌶Cowboy candy recipe🌶

3 1/2 pounds jalapenos
3 cups ACV
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon garlic

Cut the jalapenos into discs or small chunks
Combine all of the other ingredients together
Pour it all over the jalapenos and mix well
Fill jars to 1 inch headspace
Waterbath for 10 minutes

Every year I torment my family for days with the overpowering smell of onions...

$20. oo for 30 pounds of yellow onions

14 quarts of french onion soup $8 each = $112
16 quarter pints of maple onion jam $4 each = $64
11 quarts 1 pint of onion broth $3.50 each = $40

If I were to purchase similar products at the local grocery store it would cost about $216.oo. (I found the best comparables at Frankenmuth Kroger and Birch Run Meijer.) And there are over 2 cases of carmalized onions in the pantry from last year still.

I do this with several things every year, most produce from our garden and a few from local farms. The savings adds up!!
