I painted a private party for a few of the staff at Capabilities.

Capabilities, "connects the dots" between person(s) and their future. They are Ohio’s largest private provider of career rehabilitation, and personalized rehabilitation services for people with disabilities. They started in 1997 by a former special education teacher and her husband. Today, they staff over 200 employees, in thirteen office locations. Their main goals is to support people with disabilities on their journeys toward independence.

I painted a private party for:
Ryfit

Special Shoutout to Corey Scott for helping facilitate the event!
We painted 🎨 and talked about fitness!

We started with a blank canvas.
Painted the sunsets.
Splattered the stars 🌟.
Carbon copied an elephant 🐘 stencil.
Lastly, silhouette the painting.

Sometimes you just need the steps broken down to the creator.
Painting is problem solving until you find the solutions to your creativity.
Problem solving is a foundation to cognitive skills.
-Art matters!

These ladies did a great job! They turned out beautiful!

I love getting messages like this.

I have about 10 totes, & boxes, full, of art in the warehouse.
I had a couple of classes, two years ago, with the birch trees and cardinal painting. I taught from a blank canvas how to paint and draw the trees and birds. The fundamentals of art are all about shapes and lines that grow with you for any painting class.
