Found elsewhere and I couldn’t agree more!

Hand-turned objects are gaining value precisely because everything else is becoming automated. When a CNC machine can carve a perfect sphere in minutes, the slight asymmetry of a hand-turned bowl stops being an imperfection and starts being proof of humanity.

I am not against technology. I use digital tools in various forms. But the final object or product should carry the evidence of a person, of being handmade, not a program. That is what makes craft worth preserving!

There are several clients around town locally that had expressed interest in some hand turned bowls! Due to a hand injury in the shop three months ago I was not able to turn any products!
