It is with great pleasure that I announce Jen and I have sold our business assets to Eric Marden. We are happy to make this introduction. Please find Eric and his teams contact information below.
As you probably know Marden Builders have specialized in luxury homes in the Boothbay region since 1979. Eric purchased our shop and is excited to continue building furniture and store fixtures for our customers. The new entity will be called Maine Fine Furniture and Cabinetry LLC. Jen and I could not be happier that he has kept our employees on board including Charles Hobby as shop foreman. Along with the shop and tooling Eric has all of our drawings, cut list, and shop jigs to build your store fixtures and counters. They do have avaible production capacity now with short lead times and we would love to get started building something special for your home.
Since the business sale process began last February I have had the opportunity to speak with a lot of people about Eric. One thing stands out, he is well loved in our community by his neighbors, his employees, and the people he does business with.
The transition of course has taken longer than we thought it would and has had a few small setbacks. Things are now up and running, so full steam ahead! I will be involved in the transition for a few more weeks and as always if I can be of any assistance please don’t hesitate.
