Beautiful, solid Broyhill set professionally refinished in Benjamin Moore Silver Marlin, a soft, sophisticated coastal blue. The light pine tops have been carefully whitewashed, lightened and sealed for a beautiful natural finish.
Finished with warm champagne-brass hardware, this set feels bright, airy and effortlessly high-end, the perfect blend of coastal and transitional style.

🍊 ORANGE ➡️ COASTAL BLUE 🩵

This 3-piece Broyhill set came to me very orange and very old-school 😂 but underneath? Excellent bones, beautiful shape and a style that ALWAYS sells for me.

So I lightened her all the way up.

✨ Benjamin Moore Silver Marlin for that soft, sophisticated coastal blue
✨ Pine tops sanded down and lightened with a soft whitewash
✨ Sealed with multiple coats of poly for a durable, beautiful finish
✨ About two full days of prep, painting, sanding, finishing and sealing

Furniture flipping may look like a quick before & after on a reel, but there’s a whole lot of work hiding between those two clips. And THIS is exactly why the transformation will forever be my favorite part. 🩵

From heavy and dated to light, airy and completely refreshed.

I think she turned out FABULOUS. ✨

I just discovered something that made me ridiculously happy 😂

You can literally Google “Dressers by Jennifer” and there I am. My work, my pieces and this little business I’ve built one dresser at a time. 🤍

It may seem like a small thing, but to me it feels pretty huge.

Still painting, still learning, still working hard… but apparently now you can just Google her 😂🤍

This one was a transformation! 🤍

I started with two really distressed nightstands and one big, dark, dated dresser. They were solid, substantial pieces, but visually they just felt HEAVY. I wanted to completely lighten everything up while still keeping the set high end and substantial.

I refinished the entire set in Ballet White, then created a soft faux maple finish on the tops for just enough contrast. I used layers of glaze to build natural wood movement and even hand painted subtle knots and grain details so the finish looks and feels much more like real wood.

Everything was finished with polyurethane for durability, and I drilled for all new brass hardware to complete the look.

About three days from dark and dated to light, airy and completely refreshed. ✨

When the drawer tries to come home with you 😂

These Vaughan Bassett drawers had broken stops, so some of these HEAVY drawers came flying right out. 😳

Easy fix! Plastic drawer stops from Amazon. Cheap, simple to install and they work great.

Just remember to push the stop DOWN before removing the drawer completely or you’ll snap it off and be right back where you started. 😂
