At Noble Artisans, we use only reclaimed or sustainable wood that has been submerged in lakes, rivers, and waterways in the South Pacific. Each piece of our reclaimed wood comes from live edge slabs from trees that were naturally felled whether from old age or wind damage. Many of these trees are hundreds of years old and come from Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand, Papua New Guinea, India
, Nepal and other surrounding countries. Mostly we are dealing with very rare kinds of wood such as aged wild golden teak, angsana wood, champaca wood, iron wood, monkey wood, sonokeling wood, suar wood, tamarind wood, Macassar ebony, Makha (kind of hardwood), Narra (Pradu) and local rose wood
METICULOUS CRAFTSMANSHIP WITH A HAND RUBBED FINISH
In our factory the finish is the most important part in furniture making. Most of the wooden furniture today comes with subpar coatings and finishings. At Noble Artisans, we do more than 20 sanding applications using the finest sandpaper for polishing. We then apply at least eight finish coating with thorough sanding in between each application. The end result is a brilliant finish that creates a lustrous and smooth surface that purely displays the natural pattern of the reclaimed wood. This process is called hand rubbed finishing because we do not use any machines but only hands. CUSTOM RECLAIMED WOOD FURNITURE PIECES
We can do all kinds of custom made items. Such items include dining tables more than 160 inches length and root consoles over 200 inches length. Even petrified and semi petrified wood can be used in our furniture. QUALITY IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN VOLUME
Every reclaimed piece of wood is a one of a kind masterpiece that tells a unique story. We spend weeks or even months drying, finishing and coating our dining and coffee tables. The result is a sense that wood gets its second life and looks warm like jade. We specialize in extra long live edge solid wood slabs for Dining Tables, Coffee Tables, Side Tables, and even Consoles From Tree Roots
