Challenges? We love them. 🛁 Leaky claw foot tub ✅ 100 year old plumbing ✅ The desire to shave your legs in a large enclosed shower whilst not being touched by a shower curtain ✅ ✅ Locked in on small space ✅ We will call this project our optical illusion bathroom. We wanted to celebrate the window in the bathroom (and the original tile wainscot) while adding storage, a modern-style jewel box shower feature, and a lot of personality….all in the smallest of spaces. We will be waterproofing the shower, creating two knee-walls for glass, installing the vintage-style shower system IN FRONT of the window (think of an outdoor shower…inside), and adding mirrored tile on the wall above the wainscot to bounce all the light back into the room. Voila! Can’t wait to show you the finished space.

Is it time for an AFTER in your home? We took this outdated and inefficient layout and created something where modern meets feminine. And it is magical. 🪄 Hot design tip: do what you love. Did you see a designer online telling you that you can no longer like white spaces? Are white spaces comforting to you? Do it. Do you love a little pearl inlay in your tile but also want modern lines? Do it. Design is personal. And it should reflect YOU and your own style. Work with a design team who wants to help you showcase the best version of YOU. (And may encourage you to walk a little bit on the wild side.) 📐 🔨

A place for everything and everything in its place 🪞 Where do your daily small appliances live? If it isn’t behind a cabinet bedecked with mirror from Alabama’s own then…shouldn’t it be? We couldn’t wait another minute to share this with you. There are so many more details to come!

Bigger is not always better. World’s tiniest primary bath (slight exaggeration) is about to gain some clever use of space and a lot of personality. Our goal was to keep the same footprint, and respect the beautiful tile wainscot, while gaining efficiency through a better spacial layout. 🛁 Were we sad to bust up the original claw foot tub? Yes. Was there any other way to get it out of the 2’ wide door frames? No. 🛁 Stay tuned to hear more about the decisions we made and the reasons why.

Our main goal in this Mountain Brook stunner was to celebrate the view in the back of the home. Sunsets. A pristine pool. Beautiful trees. So, we decided to have this reflective coffee table created to reflect all the beauty back out into the room. An optical illusion of sorts. Thank you to and for the collab. Shop local, friends!

The details of this one will blow your mind. Antique mirror. Brass accents. Stone work. We are JUST getting started. 🏡 We are remodeling what was a new construction home. What did we gain from that? Better use of space, more practical storage, better work flow, personalized details and, (most importantly) a unique personality that represents the lovely people calling the space “home.” Did you build new construction a few years ago but are ready to upgrade your investment? 2025 has felt like a beautiful marathon. We have had a blast turning our clients’ dreams into reality. (We also have been so busy we have neglected our posting for way too long.) This 1950s charming cottage got a whole new life. We had so much fun reimagining the space, adding a few more square feet, and really optimizing efficiencies. What do you think of our European approach to a beautiful and functional family space? We love multipurpose spaces and this GEM is full of them. This renovation celebrated the beautiful, natural surroundings while utilizing every square inch with both form and function. Oui oui!
