🪷 A modern makeover for a sentimental piece!🪷

My late grandfather and grandmother purchased this buffet (among other pieces in the dining set) in the early 90’s. When my grandmother passed away in 2016 and their house was sold, I wanted to keep this piece for myself. Since then, I’ve been hoping to get it refinished to better match my home aesthetic. Mackenzie Collins knocked it out the park! She had such great communication and handled such a sentimental piece with care! She even fixed a door that we broke in transit to her!! I cannot thank her enough for giving this buffet a brand new life. My grandparents would be so proud!

🪷 Have you ever started a project and then realized it is more labor intensive than you thought it would be? My client wanted to restore these cute child sized, handmade pieces from her mother’s former church for her sweet grandchild. She worked VERY hard to strip and scrape many layers of various stain and paint and then reached out to me to help finish up. They are ready for many more years of love 💕 Team work made the dream work 🪷

🪷 Queen bed makeover! This was a logistically tricky makeover but I love how it turned out. My client acquired this piece from her local “Buy Nothing” FB group and contacted me with her renovation vision! This project combined two of my favorite things: saving furniture from the landfill and supporting local businesses! 🪷
