Cord outdoor furniture is having a quiet design moment (and we'd argue it's overdue).

For years, the trade-off was real: natural cord was beautiful but couldn't survive outdoors, and early synthetics looked plasticky. That's changed. New HDPE and Olefin fibers finally let the category deliver real outdoor durability without losing the warmth, texture, and craft that flat sling and resin furniture can't replicate.
