Here’s Alan Schwartz demonstrating some clean strat tones on a Swingland amp. One important feature of this amp is its ability to maintain a great playing feel with dynamics and note bloom even with clean tones like this played at low volume.

I’ve built well over 1000 speaker cabinets over the past 35 years and in the process learned a lot about how to voice a cabinet to become part of the acoustic presentation and to really sing. I voice my cabinets for a perfect balance between clarity / detail and deep resonance / note bloom.

The Swingland was originally planned to be a simple low watt amp but after 3 years of development it became our most versatile and innovative design. For low volume playing, I’ve never heard an amp that can deliver the rich harmonics, depth and fullness, and note bloom that this amp delivers. If you dig the sound and feel of a vintage tube amp but are constrained on volume, the Swingland will give you that big-amp note bloom and feel for a really satisfying and inspiring playing experience, as well as a huge variety of great classic tones of the fender, vox, and Marshall variety.
