I get asked out of curiosity all the time: “Kim, do you work with hoarders?”

​A friend recently asked me if I’d heard about the Hantavirus outbreak on that cruise ship. My response? “Yeah, and that’s exactly why I don’t work with hoarding situations.”

​It might sound harsh, but here’s the reality: Hantavirus is a serious illness spread by rodents 🐀. Extreme hoarding remediation often involves major safety hazards and biohazards that require specialized clinical support and safety training.☣️😷

Support isn’t a passive action—it’s a purposeful, intentional choice. 🤍 Warning salivation inducing post.

When I knew my travel schedule was taking me to Long Island for work, then directly into NYC to celebrate my birthday, I built my entire itinerary around one mission: supporting a founder in our community.

This is what “Growing Together” actually looks like. It’s not just networking; it’s making the trek, placing the order, and prioritizing the craft of a fellow woman entrepreneur. It’s recognizing that when one of us succeeds, the entire community rises.

I snagged this beautiful Seed+Mill Chocolate Pistachio Halva with Chocolate Tahini Challah from the incredible . Yes, it tastes as perfect as it looks—filled with the kind of love and artisanal care that mass production can never replicate. 🥐✨

But for me, this entire trip was about the value of connection.

I’m so proud to be building & growing alongside other founders who pour their heart into their craft every single day. 🤎 I'm so fortunate to have found the inimitable and joined her community. Through this community of female founders I've been inspired and lifted, I have given and I have taken, and surprisingly and without effort made some incredible adult friendships.
