The Guadalupe River has become part of my life in a different way now—as a dad. It’s where I got to slow down with my kids, watch them explore, and share the kind of moments that shape how they’ll remember their childhood. It’s no longer just a place I go—it’s a place where our family story is being written.

From camping trips and mornings spent fishing to afternoons swimming with family, it’s a place that’s always reminded me to slow down and enjoy the people around me. Now, getting to experience those same traditions with my own family is something I never take for granted.

That sense of connection inspired The Guadalupe.

Crafted from solid Black Walnut, it’s the richest table in the Hill Country Collection—designed to become the centerpiece where your own family traditions begin and continue for generations.

Twenty years ago, we were just a couple of kids saying "I do."

We had no idea what life would hold—three amazing kids, seasons of joy, seasons of uncertainty, victories we celebrated together, and challenges that stretched us more than we ever imagined. Through every chapter, one thing has never changed: I married my best friend.

Kourtney, I continue to be humbled by your sweet love for me and your unwavering belief in me. When I unexpectedly lost my banking career, I remember the uncertainty and fear that followed. But I also remember how you stood beside me with quiet strength, encouraging me as I felt the Lord leading me into something completely new—building handcrafted furniture full-time. I know there were moments you worried, but you never stopped supporting me as I stepped into what God had placed on my heart.

Every table, every cabinet, every piece that leaves my shop exists because you believed in me long before many others did.

I am so much more blessed than I deserve, and I'm incredibly grateful for the life we've built together. I'm excited to see what the Lord has in store for the years ahead.

I love you forever and for always. Happy 20th Anniversary. ❤️

One year ago, I took the leap into full-time entrepreneurship.

In many ways, it feels like it’s flown by—but in that time, I’ve learned more than I could have imagined. And at the same time, I’m reminded daily of how much there still is to learn in the years ahead. As the saying goes, “it’s not the destination, it’s the journey”—and this first year has shown me just how true that really is.

After spending 20 years serving entrepreneurs in the banking industry, I thought I had a solid understanding of what it took to run a business. This past year has given me an entirely new level of respect for the dedication, endurance, and resilience it requires day in and day out.

To my clients—thank you for your trust. It means more than you know.

To my family and friends—thank you for your constant support, encouragement, and belief in me.
