Dear UTCS Seniors,

We’d like to give a heartfelt thanks to all of you for attending this year’s 2016 Project Giving Tree Senior Banquet. Your presence at the banquet made it a tremendous success. And of course, without you, we wouldn’t have been able to successfully raise the funds needed to establish the undergraduate endowment to help bring more classes and great professors to UTCS. We hope that all of you continue to be active in our department’s community as alumni and continue to look for ways to give back both to the department and to future generations of computer science students. There are many ways to do this--through your financial support; by returning to talk to one of Downing’s classes; by volunteering your time through some of our alumni outreach programs; or by any number of other avenues--but, regardless of how you choose to do it, we hope that you continue to be a part of the UT Computer Science community long after graduation takes you beyond the 40 acres!

Thank you again for coming out, and hook ’em!

Hey everyone!

On December 8th from 5-8PM we will be having a Gingerbread House Party in the GDC Atrium! During that time, you and your friends can take a break from studying and build yourself a super awesome gingerbread house as a group!

Groups can be 3 - 5 people, and if you sign up here you'll be guaranteed a house. If you don't have a group right now though, no worries. :D You're welcome to show up, find some people who also want to build a house, and make some new friends!
