Today we celebrate the woman behind a whole lot of second chances.

Before Work Dog Rescue & Rehabilitation… there was Dori. K9 handler. Trainer. The one who sees potential where others see “too much.”

The scared dogs.
The medical dogs.
The hard dogs.
The misunderstood dogs.

Breed doesn’t matter here.

If there is space or a foster… Dori is probably saying YES. 😅

She also somehow keeps all of us at WDRR moving in the same direction with one focus… the dogs. Just helping the dogs.

This year's Junk 'N Jam was such a blast! Truly the best one yet. One of the best parts was collaborating with Shelly and Cheryl at Teacher Reuse, located in San Marcos/ Hays County.

They helped make the event go really well, and we were honored to bring more awareness to their organization and give $1,899.50 with the help of sponsors, donations, and attendees.

They can't apply for benefits for the next one, so if you are a nonprofit local to the greater Austin area, we'd love for you to fill out an application when they open in November.
