🎉 ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY! 🎉
Today marks one year since stepping away from teaching and pursuing my small business full-time.
Here are some of my favorite pictures over the last year. You will notice that not all of them are projects I made; many of them are pictures of memories I was able to make with my kids from being home more (and not having two full-time jobs!).
From dropping Madi and Obi off at their first day of big boy school, to being able to stay in the NICU through Teddy’s birth complications, taking more intentional time off at Christmas, enjoying the snow days, taking a semi-spontaneous trip to visit my sister in DC and celebrate Madi’s 5th birthday, to watching the Masters as much as I wanted, enjoying the Patch and Loop, and now being able to drive 45 seconds to our favorite new pool.
I will not say this year has been easy from a business standpoint; there are MANY things I still need to learn. I have struggled with self-doubt, consistent revenue streams, managing my time efficiently, and anxiety through all things managing your own company.
But in all of this, the Lord has been kind to us. I pray I do not take the extra time with family for granted, and that I can use that time to point them towards my Creator and Savior. I am extremely thankful to all the clients and friends who have supported me financially and emotionally. It has been a really fun year!
I’m excited for all the opportunities I have upcoming in year 2!
