Acetone for the win 🙌

A few things to remember: acetone doesn’t work on every finish, so I always test a small area first. Work in a well-ventilated area, keep it away from flames/ignition sources, and gloves are non-negotiable. 🧤

For these twisty legs? I’d say the test was a success. 👏

A little coffee, a lot of cozy 🤎 I used Minwax Gel Stain in Coffee to give this table that warm, rich brown. Creating cozy spaces one project at a time because I want home to be our favorite escape.

I love both of these furniture st*****rs, but I use them for different things! 🙌

I like the gel for flat surfaces and the spray for getting into all those little details and hard-to-reach spots. Both work great, just for different reasons!

This is why I love antique stores. You can find the prettiest new stool anywhere, but you can’t buy this kind of character new. The worn edges, the little imperfections, the way it’s been loved and used for years…that’s what makes it special. 🤎

Goodbye orange, hello rich + cozy. 🤎🍂

Save this for your next flip 🖤 Acetone is my ride-or-die for breaking down old finish but sanding before stain or paint is still a must! Use proper PPE and ventilation.
