Guest bathroom at The Fern House! 🚿

The original bathroom was cramped and outdated!
We pushed the shower wall back to allow for a more open concept! With a 60x30 shower footprint, a 24x17 niche, a 42” wide vanity, and all new finishes and fixtures, this new space feels spacious and beautiful!

This bathroom features:
*Vintage gray glazed ceramic shower walls
*Porcelain hex bathroom flooring in charcoal matte black
*Sage penny tile in the back wall of the niche
*A solid surface marmaline niche sill

Living room transformation at The Fern House!

After closing the entrance from the former dining room to the living room, the contractor added a new cased opening to the kitchen. This allowed for smoother flow throughout the home. With new windows in the room, a fresh coat of paint, and new furniture from , this room is much brighter!

New screened in porch before & after at The Fern House!

This large deck was fully exposed to the sun, and these homeowners wanted to be able to sit outside and enjoy the space more during the hot Auburn summers. We replaced the deck with a screened in porch, partially exposed for grilling and seating. Completed with patio furniture and a daybed swing, this is now a functional space that can be enjoyed year-round!

Taking a quick break from The Fern House to show you this Before & After at The Heritage House!

This homeowner wanted to preserve the character of the home by incorporating some of its original stone into a newly designed fireplace feature. To complement the space, we made a mantle and floating shelves in-house using white pine, and a custom match stain for a seamless, cohesive look. The mantle has a 4” face and is 134” long!

The push-to-open drawers are finished in Sherwin-Williams Dovetail, while the back wall is painted in Sherwin-Williams Iron Ore to create depth and contrast. Completing the design, the fireplace seat features a beautiful steel gray leathered countertop with a mitered edge, adding both texture and sophistication to the space.

Before & After of the breakfast area at The Fern House!

After removing the original 1975 stone fireplace, we were able to open up the room and create a larger space for dining and gathering. We added wainscoting in the corner and transformed the existing built-in shelving into an arched cove with a built-in coffee bar featuring cabinetry that ties into the laundry and scullery spaces.

With sliding glass doors leading to the new screened-in porch, the home now flows beautifully for both entertaining and everyday living.

What used to be a dining room now holds a pantry, second oven and fridge, and a full laundry room. Both functional and convenient, this room gets a lot of practical use!
