My people ! Did you know .. that the chickens we buy to cook from the store ARE NOT the same chickens you get the eggs you buy from ??
Did you know .. meat laying chickens are not kept by farmers and consumers to LAY EGGS !

My people !!! It’s time to get those plants in the soil. It doesn’t matter if you planting in-ground, a container, a raised bed, a bag … it’s all the same !!! The number 1 rule is to just make sure you water that plant AFTER you plant it in its forever home .. that’s the stamp and approval telling it to TAKE OFF ! What are you planting this season ???? Tell me in the comments I need some more ideas.

My people , The color of the yolk is based off what the chicken is eating !! Chickens that eat a corn or wheat based diet usually have a pale looking yolk.

My people my people !!!! Our season is here. You ain’t late your right on time. Grow ya OWN FOOD ! And before you load up your garden or container with peppers, tomatoes and cucumbers make sure you grow some HERBS PEOPLE !! Why?
•They are super beneficial in many ways
•Grow fast
•Very forgiving
•Can come back year after year
•Small space
•Repel Pest

I can go on and on ! START WITH HERBS MY PEOPLE.

My people !!! Homesteading is a lifestyle, and NO you don’t have to keep animals to be considered a homestead BUT IF and only IF you just may be considering keeping a few animals, you won’t go wrong with these 3 options ! This list was made from what is convenient and VERY low maintenance to care for. You can do it people. You don’t need to own land and you don’t even need a lot of space. We in this together people !!

Gardening is more understanding your soace than it is actually growing. See, the more you understand WHAT IT TAKES to make a plant grow the more successful you will be with growing your own food.

After the hives swarmed this week we decided to open it up and split it. We set up 2 other hives to bring in more bees in the near future !
