About to finish up the tables for the charity Beloved Asheville. Hopefully they are finished by week end. One more sanding between coats, one coat of poly left to apply and these walnut tops, made with lumber donated by Trexler Furniture & Rugs will be finished.

Haven’t posted in a long, long time. My Etsy shop is still up. I am going to shut down my eBay account.

In the past few years many changes have happened with import laws. It’s made the business of importing rare burl quite difficult.

I have married and bought a home and have gone back to College at UNC-Asheville. I will be slowly liquidating my stock of burl, knife scales, pen blanks and other items over the next several months once school is out for Summer. Keep an eye on my Etsy Store for some great deals!

I appreciate all of the friends I have made and people I have met. Time for a change. I’ve always enjoyed psychology, so I will be pursuing my BS and eventually an MA in Counseling.

She's almost done, so I figured I'd give a sneak at her. 12" hollow main bevel satin finish. Textured flats(meteor shower) over a satin finish. 12" hollow swedge satin finish. Hand forged (by me) mokume bolsters with hidden 1/4" pin. Stabilized buckeye burl hybrid scales from . 1/4" stainless pins. S35VN blade. I haven't been in my shop much, because we're really busy at work. I'm a detailing draftsman at a metal building company and people are buying metal buildings like crazy right now. Hopefully i can get more time in the shop soon to make some more of these.
