Hi y’all! I’d like to take a moment and introduce myself! I’m Breneé, owner and head popcorn enthusiast here at The Popcorn Bar!

Just about a year ago ( !) During the planning of our wedding we knew that we wanted to keep it simple yet wanted something fun for our pre-ceremony gathering, cocktail hour, and late night snacks. Being that popcorn is my all time fave snack I was determined to find a vendor that served popcorn, but didn’t look like a circus vendor. (You know the bright red set up i’m talkin’ about!) After searching the inter-webs and not finding anything we decided we would build our own. Thankfully my husband, Brock, is a engineer, woodworking wizard and overall amazing handyman so was able to build me the popcorn bar of my dreams! 😍 After our big day was over we started having people ask who our popcorn bar vendor was and if we could put them in touch. That is when The Popcorn Bar was born! 🥰

Hi my popcorn peeps!
It’s been a bit quiet around here but things are still poppin’ behind the scenes! Couple updates for y’all... 1.) Brock is in the process of building us a new {and improved} bar! So stoked! And 2.) we are moving to Northern California NEXT WEEK! Which we are also stoked about! With this new move we will also be expanding to serve more locations! We now will be serving In SLO County, Modesto, and the SF Bay Area! Again, we are STOKED about this expansion! Obviously, we are still laying low bc of Covid but excited about what the future holds when things open up for our beloved events industry! Until then, You can find me here munching on my fave snack ever! 😉🍿 Stay safe, healthy and hopeful, friends!

Wishing I could tele-pop y’all a individual bowl of hot popppidy-popcorn right now, but with everything going on I will just give you my at-home, stove top recipe!
What you’ll need:
- A large pan with a lid
-1/4 cup oil (coconut preferred!)
- 1/2 cup popcorn kernels
Get Poppin’:
-Add oil to pan and allow it to get hot.
-Add kernels and stir to make sure all kernels are fully covered with oil then put lid on.
-Occasionally shake pan over stove and slightly lift lid just a little to let steam out.
-Once Popping begins to slow down, turn off burner and wait for popping to stop.
-Pour the beautiful popcorn into bowl and top with salt, and drizzled butter! Or any other topping(s) you dig!
-Cuddle up on the couch and watch your fave Netflix show. 🍿📺✨
