Early American occasional table manufactured by Elite Furniture Co of Jamestown, NY.

They weren’t a flashy designer brand, but rather a solid, dependable American manufacturer producing tasteful reproduction styles for middle-class homes.

This one needed a refresh to recover from the damaged finish; but mahogany is forgiving and these gems soldier on with a bit of Blue Hen skill behind them. Client request.

Repurposed maple, cherry, and walnut become handcrafted cutting boards, wrapped in twine and paired with a hand-painted card—gifts for my nieces, all recent graduates starting out on their own.

When family asks you to take on a project for them, you say yes. For my special aunt —stripped the brown paint and highlighted the lighter oak-top coffee table (and matching side table) to better match the living space and add calm to her days. Client request.

These poor things were a medley of colors, crying out for a makeover. With a vision and hours to undo the very bad paint job, the result is all calm. Simple works best with pale blue and natural wood to show off the light maple. Before/after.
