I’ve been MIA but I’m baaaaaaaack.. for now. 🙂
I have two more days of babysitting until I’m back here full time! I thought I was going to be able to do both at once but these 14-15 hour days are KILLER!

Anyway, I just started this project. I have six chairs to redo. This is a before to a mid- after I guess you would call it. I’m going to stain the legs a little darker then go from there. 😍

Give me all the opinions! 😍😍😍

Happy Easter! 🐣

I am SO SORRY I’ve been away for a week or so. I’ve been babysitting like crazy. All week last week from 7a- 9p. So I am very worn out. 

I will be out all week working on some things, all except for Thursday. I have picked up a dresser set so I can’t wait to show before and after pictures to you guys.

I hope everyone was able to get out and enjoy this beautiful Saturday!

I am currently working on a nightstand that I’ve been back and forth on all day. I started with gray and blush then switched up to navy and blush. I painted the bottom gold and I’m just confused all around. Any color or stain suggestions?

Also, I have a workshop now. I’m working on cleaning it all out and getting drywall up and new flooring in there. I was in there today, cleaning some things out and I stepped on a three inch nail. It went straight through my shoe and all the way to the top of my shoe. Thankfully, where I stepped, the nail went right between my toes. Lucky me! ☘️🖤

GUYS.

I just got home from EIGHT different thrift stores.
E I G H T.
And I am so worn out! 😴

Guess what? I didn’t find a single piece worth picking up. I’ve noticed pieces are getting a lot more pricey at thrift stores. Does anyone know of any good thrift stores around? Willing to travel a little.

If anyone wants to go thrifting anytime, let me know. I’m always down for new finds!

Happy HUMP DAY!
It’s been a few days. What’s up Bench and Board fam?!

I decided to take on a babysitting job for a family in need for a month or so. So I will be there about three days a week and the rest of the time, I will be renovating furniture for you lovelies! I only had a half day today and I have a 4:30 appointment so I thought I would work on this little playhouse in my downtime. I’m working on cleaning this up and painting it. I want the children to have a little “modern outdoor farmhouse” to play in too. 🙂

I cannot wait to finish this project. If it turns out the way I’m imagining it, it’s going to be absolutely PERFECT!

Give me your thoughts on this so far? (First coat of paint- no worries!)

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Saturday!

Just a few updates:

There was a tie between Jill Lynn Fornof Embrey Kelsea Gallagher and Amy Fornof Reed for the porch sign, so I will be doing a drawing for that sometime tonight or tomorrow.

I just sold the Kudzu colored accent table so that is no longer available, however I still have the blue and white table ($70) and the black and stained nightstand ($50)- I will attach pictures.

I just finished a chair. $45. I used Dixie Belle paint in the color Mason Dixon Gray. I added a little bit of distress to it. So let me know your thoughts!

We have a little over 24 hours to keep inviting our friends and family to like and follow Bench and Board in order to win the porch sign! So far we have Kelsea Gallagher and Amy Fornof Reed in the lead!

I’m going to try to get an entryway piece done today. I’m about to go pick up some Dixie Belle paint. Any specific colors you guys would like to see? Wanting this table to really pop. 😍
