We've received a couple questions lately about roundabouts, so wanted to share some tips to help use them like a pro no matter where you go!
1. When approaching slow down and yield to pedestrians as required.
2. When entering the circle, yield to traffic that is already in the circle to your left. Most roundabouts have yield signs, so it is not necessary to come to a complete stop unless you are yielding to another motorist. When entering, always go to the right and travel in a counterclockwise direction. Once in the roundabout do not stop, as you have the right of way.
3. When it comes time to exit, use your turn signal to alert the driver behind you of your intention to exit the roundabout and cautiously make your exit.
