Elegant Bedroom Set | Dresser & Matching Nightstands

American of Martinsville is known for their exceptional craftsmanship dating back to 1906. Their eloquent furniture was constructed using the finest cherry, walnut, or oak.

My parents purchased this bedroom set new in the mid 1980's from a furniture store in Albion, IN.

This set was built with solid, white oak. Dovetail drawers on slides ensure smooth operation for many years to come.

Meticulously refinished to feature a deep forest green with natural oak wood accents and bronze hardware, giving it a classic yet modern farmhouse look. Custom glass tops to warrant the beautiful oak top (NO VENEER) on all three pieces.

SOLID Oak. HEAVY.
The construction of this furniture excels past modern day furniture, guaranteed!

Nightstands are still in progress.

New, custom built, hardwood, red oak bases on all three pieces to achieve an updated look.

1/4 inch pieces of glass to preserve the beautiful oak tops.

Antique dresser that was refinished and sent to New York upon request!

This dresser had me filled with so many nerves.. Thankful for what I had learned from my dad. But still filled with, “I wish dad was here to help me; to answer my questions.” Having processed so many emotions, it only felt appropriate to stage with yellow (dads color).

Proud of myself for taking the risk! Don’t ask what the color of stain is.. because it was a process.. 😅



Dad - I will forever miss you more and love you more. Every day. 💛
