V-WOOD是由工業設計師Vincent Wang與室內設計師Val Lai在2014共同創立，V源自於兩人英文名的開頭，WOOD則是紀念兩人對共同熱愛木質工藝的機緣下結識
兩人期望能透過「設計」提升人的生活品質，將核心回歸到「設計」與「製造工藝」上，精選台灣優質工廠投入大量的時間探討產品核心的質量與製造，「少量」「精緻」的堅持產品數量，希望高品質的原創設計不再是遙不可及
