Ask any facilities manager what time their break-ins happen and you will hear the same answer. Not during the day. Not while anyone is watching.

"Precepted" is one of those words that appears in security proposals and rarely gets explained. Here's the plain version.

A precepted officer has been granted powers of arrest by the Commissioner of Police under the Supplemental Police Act. It is not a title a company can award itself — it is authority granted by the State, to individual officers, after vetting and training.

Why it matters to you:
