GSV Team's very first charity trip for 2020

Good Spirit Volunteers (GSV) Team treated lunch to the sweet children of Children’s Village School Moo Baan Dek, Kanchanaburi.

Moo Baan Dek is a project under the Foundation for Children, a registered non-profit Thai organization.

Children here are provided with free education and accommodation. The costs are entirely covered by donations - 80-90% of which come from within Thailand, whereas funds for specific projects or buildings come primarily from overseas. Donors include organizations such as UNESCO, Partage Foundation (France), CCFD (France), as well as Thai residents in Europe and America.

However, due to the lukewarm atmosphere of the Thai economy, the amount of donations have been dwindling and hence it is getting harder to rely solely on donations.

Therefore, the school seeks other ways of monetary support by selling the vegetables grown from the farm, or artwork from the batik, weaving, and woodwork workshops to visitors.

Good Spirit Volunteers (GSV) is an initiative to give something back to our community.

GSV provides information regarding various charitable causes and foundations across Thailand. We will help you identify and support the less fortunate people in times of need. Our volunteers visit the charitable organizations and make donations. We will be making announcements prior to our visit to the foundation so that you can help contribute accordingly.

Please note that donation can be made in various forms including money, alms, services, or goods such as clothing, food, beverages etc.

Let’s come together to make difference,
by healing the hurt,
by making well the sick,
by restoring happiness to those in despair,
by giving time to the lonely,
by feeding the hungry &

กลุ่มอาสาสมัครทำดีด้วยใจ (GSV หรือ Good Spirit Volunteers) ได้ริเริ่มขึ้นจากกลุ่มเพื่อนกลุ่มเล็กๆที่มีจุดประสงค์เดียวกัน คือการต้องการส่งต่อสิ่งดีๆให้กับสังคมของเรา โดยการเป็นผู้ให้ที่ไม่หวังสิ่งใดตอบแทน

GSV ได้ทำการหาข้อมูลจากแหล่งการกุศลและมูลนิธิต่างๆในประเทศไทย เพื่อช่วยเหลือและสนับสนุนผู้ยากไร้ตามกำลังและความเหมาะสม โดยกลุ่มอาสาสมัครของเราจะประสานงานกับหน่วยงานนั้นๆ เพื่อสอบถามความต้องการ แจ้งข่าวแก่เพื่อนๆที่ต้องการทำดีด้วยใจร่วมกัน ไม่ว่าจะเป็นข้าวของเครื่องใช้ เสื้อผ้า อาหาร ของอุปโภคบริโภค ไปจนถึงกำลังกายและกำลังทรัพย์ เพื่อการให้ที่ก่อให้เกิดประโยชน์สูงสุดแก่ผู้รับ
