The items of the list are spread over the surface of the cylinder and behave much like iPhone’s date picker. You can rotate the cylinders by touching its surface and spin them. Bee Mobile TimePicker is a Silverlight GUI component which you can use to prompt user to pick a particular time. TimePicker can operate in 12 as well as 24 hours mode. Bee Mobile DatePicker is a Silverlight component used for picking dates in your application. The way DatePicker works is that it displays 3 cylinders which the user can rotate using his finger. There is a cylinder for days, months and years. You can also limit the user’s input by setting maximum date and minimum date. Date Picker automatically gets the names of months from regional settings of your phone; therefore you do not need to localize it.

Picking a date is very common scenario in an application development – setting appointments, filling-up orders, documenting a crime offence, insurance events or simply setting an alarm. You can also highlight one particular date to symbolize the current date or proposed date.
