It's a place for DIY enthusiasts and newbies alike to encourage and promote simple DIY repair and maintenance work in the home via step-by-step instructions and tips sharing. Believe it or not, the achievement one feels in completing a simple DIY at a fraction of the costs is immeasurable. What about Up-cycling? It is the new catch-word for further protecting our resources. Unlike "Recycle, Renew and Reuse", Up-cycling is a process whereby the item is reworked into a new item without breaking or melting down its original shape to its raw material form, thereby saving energy and cost. For this cause, we have done some projects you might find to be of interest to you. Made a personal delivery to my artist friend Cristian on his maiden solo abstract arts exhibition at Bras Basah inside Basheer Graphic bookstore. He is an artist and I am an artisan.
Both of us have a common point on sustainability and use scrap materials for our works.
He bought a skateboard chair to prop up his intro piece to the gallery.
Am very happy for his support and look Forward to our future collaboration if opportunity arise.
His exhibition ends tomorrow and if you guys looking for something the coming CNY, do drop by or just come and say hello to give support.

After many moons of procrastination, finally got it up. It was given to me by the sons of an old friend. He likes old stuff and tries to get it working after buying it but has to give up due to the high technical skill required.
I intend to give him back as a surprise gift see if he still likes it.

Hohoho! Early Christmas morning greeting. Hope all is well and good to you.
A friend whose cat is living out of her carton box for a while has upgraded his pad to my upcyled skateboard stool. It sits nicely along the door and doubles up as a stool for wearing her shoes.
Copper her cats absolutely love it and have been hoarding it.
She's been contemplating quite a while in getting my stool ever since she first set eyes on it but her other more pressing needs took precedent until now. Make herself very happy this Christmas in getting what she really likes for her loved pets and plants.
I am exceedingly glad that my stuff that brings me joy can uplift the happiness of others too.
As she stays near my house, I decided to use my own Bike Grab service.

Just ended a hectic week of my Boothing for 2025 Katong Square. It marks a great ending for my first year of Boothing started last Christmas.
Am at my last lap of my upcycling journey. Which is to create and market bespoke crafts to collectors.
I am very encouraged by the response in terms of encouragement, new suggestions and purchasing from both vendors, customers and the team from The Retro factory.

Ready to Rock and roll for the next 2 nights. This time I got a gazebo booth and I shared it with a homemade jewelry lady. . Having bigger space so I brought more products to showcase. Hope it would find favour with more customers.
