Happy 59th Birthday, Singapore 🇸🇬 🇸🇬 🇸🇬
I am forever grateful for the opportunities and security this nation has given me.
As an immigrant, stepping foot into a foreign country for the first time was far from easy. Some friends and relatives questioned if it was the right decision…
I would say that while it was uncomfortable, it was undoubtedly a life-changing decision.

Imagine being out at midnight and still feeling safe—this is something you rarely find anywhere else.
When it comes to costs, many people might misunderstand the true cost of living here. Why?
When I visit Melaka, my hometown, my mama often tells me how much prices have gone up. A small bowl of noodles now costs around RM$10! It’s not cheap for the locals.

But there’s one thing I must point out…
And that is… the issue of wildlife conservation.
On one hand, the Mandai Zoo is making great efforts towards wildlife conservation. Yet, on the other hand, certain authorities still use inhumane methods, such as culling, to manage wildlife populations.
To me, this is the biggest problem in Singapore. I sincerely hope Singaporeans can develop a more empathetic relationship towards wildlife, specifically pigeons 🐦
Let’s stop labeling them as pests!
