Another project taking shape.

The backyard is starting to feel complete with this new two-level deck. The upper level creates a great spot to catch the afternoon sun over dinner, while the wide steps lead down to the lower deck and double as relaxed seating for soaking up the sun.

A simple design that adds plenty of usable outdoor space.

A complete home renovation, transforming the entire space into a brighter, more open and connected home.

A new Ballingslöv AB kitchen, new bathroom and laundry, guest room, entrance, and completely renovated living and dining areas.

Open spaces, light colours and warm oak flooring bring everything together, creating a clean Scandinavian feel.

A great project to see come together from the structural work right through to the finishing details.

A little follow-up from our previous post.

The details in this kitchen are subtle but classy. The neutral colours and openness transform the space into a practical place to work, while still making it somewhere for the family to gather and have a conversation.

The contrast between the white stone benchtop and splashback and the warmth of the oak flooring and custom shelving is a real standout feature of this house renovation.

Finished just in time for summer ☀️

Black aluminium uterum from with sliding glass doors and folding glass windows — easy to open up on warm days, or close off when the weather turns cold and rainy.

Out the back we built wide Spanish steps with integrated planter boxes, and at the front there’s an open seating area with full sun and a custom handrail that adds privacy without closing the space in.

A proper outdoor room made for Swedish summers — and the days when summer doesn’t quite show up.

Architect’s render vs current site progress.

This is the stage where the project starts to take shape. The walls, ceiling lines, services and framing are now in place, ready for the final layers, flooring, joinery and finishing.

The final design will include warm oak shelves, clean lighting and a much softer finished feel. Still a way to go, but this is where the vision starts becoming real.

A few details from a deck completed just in time for summer.

This project included a raised timber deck, wide feature steps, spanish sit steps and built in planter boxes.

The goal was to make the garden feel more connected to the house, while creating a practical space for summer evenings, family time and entertaining.

Uterum taking shape in Utby ☀️

has started installing the black aluminium frame on the deck we’ve been building. This will be finished with glass sliding doors and sliding windows, creating a clean, sheltered outdoor space ready for summer.

A great way to extend the living area and get more use out of the deck through the Swedish seasons.
