Mamy ogromną przyjemność ogłosić drugiego prelegenta następnej edycji Startup Stage ! Pan Kamil Pohl, Film Director w Platige Image!

Kamil jest związany z Platige Image od 2007 r. Pracował jako dyrektor artystyczny i manager przy reklamach dla tak prestiżowych marek, jak Coca-Cola, Duracell, Orange, Orbit czy Metlife. Brał udział w realizacji projektów "Wiedźmin", "Ambicja", "Move Your Imagination", "Maria Curie-Skłodowska", "Paths of Hate" czy "Kinematograf". Wśród jego licznych osiągnięć znajduje się realizacja zdjęć do serialu animowanego Canal+ "Niezły Kanał" oraz stylizowanej na komiks reklamy Nike z udziałem Cristiano Ronaldo. Poprowadził także Kurs Grafiki i Animacji Platige Image, w ramach którego 16 studentów zrealizowało krótkometrażowy film "How to Train Your Robot".

Obecnie Kamil odpowiada za nadzór artystyczny, rozwój nowych technologii, wdrażanie rozwiązań i rekomendowanie nowych technik w dziale Entertainment. Jego prace badawczo-rozwojowe doprowadziły do powstania innowacyjnej technologii sferycznego mapowania otoczenia na przestrzennych bryłach, która umożliwiła nam szybsze generowanie realistycznych scenografii 3D. Rozwiązanie zostało przedstawione i omówione podczas międzynarodowej konferencji Siggraph 2013.

Kamil był zaangażowany w reżyserię animacji i filmów na potrzeby spektaklu Teatru Muzycznego Roma "Piloci". Premiera odbyła się w październiku 2017 r.
