IABC Philippines introduces Board of Trustees for 2026-2028
The International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Philippines formally introduced its Board of Trustees for a fixed two-year term from 2026 to 2028 last Friday, May 15, at the organization’s first General Membership Meeting for the year held in Makati City. Included in the organization’s newly formed Board of Trustees is Grupo Agatep Managing Director Michelle Isabel Agatep-Bayhon, as Treasurer. Bayhon is a communications professional with more than two decades of PR experience behind her and formerly served as Board Secretary of the Public Relations Society of the Philippines from 2023 to 2024.
Joining Bayhon on the board are: Belle Tiongco as Chairman; Richard Arboleda of JTI Philippines as President; Abigail Ho-Torres of Ikigai Philippines as Vice President; Ferdinand Bondoy of the COMCO Mundo League of Enterprise as Secretary; and Dave Davilles of EastWest Banking Corporation as Auditor.
Completing the Board are Jeff Tarayao of One Meralco Foundation as Chair of the CEO Excel Awards; Marzie Marzan of Alpas as Chair of the Philippine Quill Awards; Zandro Sison of the Development Bank of the Philippines as Chair of Membership; Charlie Reyes of Roar Agile Communicators Corp and Comm&Sense, Inc. as Chair for Partnerships and Sponsorships; and Frances Ariola, Chair for Brand and Communications.
Meanwhile, Ritzi Villarico-Ronquillo of the Asian Institute of Management, Joe Zaldarriaga of Meralco, Kane Errol Choa of ABS-CBN Corporation, Rey Anthony David of Prosolutions Management Corporation, and Carmencita Arce, former president of IABC will serve as Advisers for the same two-year term.
During the event, the board expressed their commitment to strengthen the communication profession and contribute positively to the growth of communication professionals across the country through its slate of programs and activities.
