In light of the ongoing and escalating issues surrounding Patrons of the Arts (PotA), we have decided to break our silence and speak out.

We, Kraftsicle and are issuing this statement to officially announce our pull-out from all future PotA events and to publicly request an immediate refund for our remaining slots.

We deeply love regional conventions and look forward to connecting with provincial art communities again in the future—but that future will no longer include Patrons of the Arts. For the safety and financial security of our peers, we cannot in good conscience recommend working with this organizer.

📢 WE ARE CANCELLING ALL PATRONS OF THE ARTS BOOKINGS

This serves as our official statement regarding future Patrons of the Arts and Patrons of the Arts: Regionals events that we will be boothing in supposedly.

We booked for two (2) Event Bundles from PotA last year totalling to PHP42,000, with our remaining unclaimed slots falling around PHP32K. But that's not the only money we put together whenever we booth; transport, accommodation, effort, and time are also wasted.

Due to PotA's recent mishandling of their Baguio event, flipping of dates for two events, and now the haphazard cancellation AND undoing of the cancellation for their Clark event, we have arrived to a decision that we will not anymore be tabling at any future events handled by PotA.

Me and my table partner Kraftsicle hereby request for refunds for ALL of our future remaining unclaimed table slots from our FULLY PAID bundles.

We greatly hope for your consideration regarding this matter, PotA team, as we need our funds as immediate as now. We have wasted more than half a year putting it somewhere where it is essentially just idle when we could have put it to a more productive use instead. We will be expecting the refunding process in our mails very soon, and in order of early birds first.

‼️ May we also request those who could not table at the Clark event be given special consideration as well and refunded for the event as early as this week as the artists, some of whom are in my art circle, have already cancelled their accommodations and have booked other events for the weekend‼️
