DAGUPAN CITY is in Risk of Going Back to the "STONE AGE"

I have a one message to all of You Everyone

Dagupan City Mayor Belen Fernandez has officialized a total ban on the operation of "pisonet" and similar coin-operated computer-rental establishments across the entire city. Under City Ordinance No. 2383-2026, the local government has issued direct Notices of Closure to all local pisonet operators, giving them a 5-day grace period to completely halt their operations.

So that is the question about Mayor Belen Fernandez banning on Pisonet because not all child, minors, or teens have access on Cellphone, Internet and etc, so how about if they have to do Research? maybe they rent an expensive internet cafe that they cannot afford?, where they go,

And also your implementation on bans on pisonet that the student can't afford expensive internet services, phones, any gadgets simply left behind because pisonet is only their last hope because that is the only one they can afford for educational purposes, You remove it to make you seems doing a work even you failed, that's why most of Generation Boomers are so cooked especially the ones who borns 1960's to 1970's because all of them they don't understand how modern technology works, only few of them they did to understand it.

Most of Boomers especially a Government Official are they overobjectificating anything, also when it about minors, just like in Various Online Games, Electronic Device, is very overacting without thinking twice, they only accuse it, blaming multiple online or offline pc and mobile games if one minor committed a crime, like the incident in Tacloban City that happened in San Jose National Highschool that kills two female student and one male student, and injured 20 or more students, that suspect is just two the 14 year old who dit 33 round shots, and the 15 year old only did 1 round shot, instead of blaming them and their parents you blames games, you did blames millions for just few's crimes, where is your brain, it's on feet, buttocks or dick?!

That's why Research, peer reviewed studies, strong evidence supports, statistics are Important than dogma because research is scientific base and the most honest things

And always remembers good parenting is only the solution to make minors are safe, disciplined, respectful, school strong security, strong visibility of a policemen especially in public places, make GMRC back to our education system, that makes a moral development on minors

Calling Out Senator Risa Hontiveros!, We suggest that you have to read carefully the Psychologist and examine the evidence carefully also evaluate a critical studies supported by peer reviewed studies,. Blaming all games are the Lazy Scapegoat!!

as analyzer in research so you claims that video games are 100% affects child and minors behavior that any online games, where the minor (Subject) is playing that games the Violence inside game are Directly in 100% that you say 100% they applies the Violence from the game into a Real world? [Questions?]

You claimed that all online games where who playing it the Violence inside the game they immediately applied in Real World Violence such a Tacloban School Mass Shooting that Kills Three Students and Injures More than twenty students you said that incident are 100% connected in A Video game (Gorebox) [Questions?]

And third Question that may ask to You, do all any of your claims are really supported by peer reviewed research or studies, let's be Scientific I dont Need a Stupid, Ignorance Or Just Useless Opinion!! Let's be Clear! [Questions]

Also i have to show you my Recent Basis in Research even it's a Raw information since i'm just starting to evaluate it clearly by Research papers, Statistics and Peer Reviewed Study, which means to conduct a Research since i Don't Need any Personal Opinion from just Emotion, Just Logic Only seems any of your claims, are just Baseless Opinion. And it seems your stupidity are in severe level!

Let's me tell something important question,

1.) How they access fi****ms they are just a minors?
2.) What is the Environmental Factors within their family?
3.) If they Use a Substance?
4.) If they are Affiliated in any Extremist Group?

It means the highest possibility factors is not a game itself why, games has a guidelines like in Gorebox a game with Age rate of 18+, Modern Warships With Strict Guidelines and Policies also In Chats, Terms and, Privacy, Same As Call Of Duty Mobile and Mobile Legends,. According to peoples both in Social media and the students that i Already interviewed about the Tacloban Mass Shooting Incident In School, Most of them always says about. This four possible things

1.) Family Environment with High Toxicity or Simply Toxic
2.) Poor Parenting Guidance, and supervision
3.) Lack of parental Disciplinary Actions

And The Worst Factor Is Connected To That Three Factors

4.) They take Advantage the Juvenile Justice as Their Opportunity to Do Real World Violence (e.g. mass school shooting "Tacloban School Shooting Incident"

And also Some of the Students and individuals that i Interviewed Recently, that They says that two suspected school shooters in Tacloban are possible they committed use of Illegal Subtance (⚠️ NOTICE! ⚠️ Need For Tough and Clear Evidence)

And Also i still finds some Valid and Peer Reviewed Studies and Information as my Baseline.

EXPERTS PEER REVIEWED STUDIES

Peer-reviewed scientific research indicates that online video games do not directly cause severe real-world violence, though they are consistently linked to mild increases in aggressive behaviors like shouting or pushing.
The consensus among major scientific bodies is that a child's real-world environment, mental health, and family dynamics are much stronger predictors of true violent behavior than digital media.
The Scientific Consensus
The scientific community divides the outcomes into two distinct categories: mild aggression and severe real-world violence.

Mild Aggression: The American Psychological Association (APA) reaffirmed through extensive literature reviews that playing violent video games is associated with small, reliable increases in aggressive behavior. These manifest as everyday behaviors like yelling, pushing, or verbal hostility.

American Psychological Association (APA)

Severe Violence: The APA task force report explicitly states that there is insufficient evidence to link violent video games to actual criminal violence, lethal acts, or delinquency. Attributing mass violence or physical assaults strictly to video games is not scientifically sound.

Key Peer-Reviewed Studies
The academic debate features two primary, opposing research tracks. One highlights a small but measurable risk factor, while the other finds no direct real-world impact.

1. The "Risk Factor" Track (Increases Mild Aggression)
Contagious and Longitudinal Effects: A longitudinal study published in PMC/NCBI tracked players over time and found that exposure to violent games predicts an increase in personal aggression. It also noted a "social network" effect, where children became more aggressive if their peer group played heavily.

PubMed Central (PMC) (.gov)

Changes in Normative Beliefs: Research published in Frontiers in Psychology utilized Bandura's social cognitive theory to demonstrate that repeated exposure to violent video games can alter adolescents' normative beliefs about aggression. Over time, children may begin to view aggressive responses as more acceptable or normal.

PubMed Central (PMC) (.gov)

Bullying Links: A study focusing on peer interactions published by Taylor & Francis Online established that a heavy preference for mature, violent video games correlates with higher self-reported instances of bullying and cyberbullying among children aged 10 to 17.

2. The "No Significant Impact" Track (No Real-World Effect)

The Oxford Internet Institute Study: In a major study published by the University of Oxford, researchers paired teenager gaming data with subjective behavioral evaluations from their parents. They concluded that there is no meaningful relationship between the time spent playing violent video games and adolescent aggression.

The Confounding Variable Argument: Prominent researchers, including psychologist Christopher J. Ferguson, noted via the APA that standard laboratory tests measuring aggression (like blasting an opponent with a loud noise) do not translate into real-world violence. His meta-analyses argue that when studies properly control for pre-existing factors like family history, poverty, or mental health issues, the statistical impact of video games shrinks to near zero.

American Psychological Association (APA)

The Role of Third Variables
Most modern research focuses on why certain children react worse to gaming environments than others.
Pre-existing Vulnerabilities: Children already dealing with underlying mental health struggles, family instability, or a history of behavioral disorders are significantly more likely to display aggression after playing. The game acts as a temporary catalyst rather than the root cause.

American Psychological Association (APA)
+4

Screen Time and Sleep Deprivation: Comprehensive systematic reviews on PMC show that excessive, unmonitored gaming often leads to severe sleep deprivation. Irritability and emotional outbursts in children are frequently tied to lack of sleep and poor time management rather than the game's violent themes.

PubMed Central (PMC) (.gov)

Parental Mediation: Long-term studies indicate that active parental monitoring and establishing healthy household rules act as a massive shield. Children whose parents actively regulate content and playtime show significantly lower rates of subsequent behavioral problems.

EXPERTS PEER REVIEWED STUDIES 2

Peer-reviewed research proves that family, environmental, and individual factors are the actual, direct causes of real-world child violence, whereas online games are not. When scientific studies isolate these background variables, the direct link between gaming and severe violence disappears.

1. Family and Home Environment (The Primary Predictors)
A child's home life is a vastly stronger predictor of violence than digital media exposure.

[Family Violence / Low Support] ──> [Innate / Trait Aggression] ──> [Real-World Violence]

[Violent Video Games] ──────────────────────────(Mildly Amplifies)──────┘

Exposure to Domestic Abuse: Landmark peer-reviewed research by Christopher J. Ferguson published in Sage Journals used structural equation modeling to analyze youth violence. The data revealed that family violence and innate trait aggression are direct predictors of violent crime, whereas video game exposure completely lacks predictive power.

Sage Journals
The Protective Buffer of Family Support: A study in Frontiers in Psychology mapped out a "moderated mediation model". It proved that a highly supportive, cohesive family environment acts as a barrier. Even if a child plays violent online games, a healthy family dynamic prevents those games from altering the child’s normative beliefs about violence.

Child-to-Parent Violence (CPV): Research in the Journal of Child and Family Studies explicitly controlled for outside media variables. They found that pathological gaming (addiction) and the justification of violence predicted physical attacks against parents, but simply being exposed to violent video games or TV did not.

2. Environmental and Social Factors
A child's external environment shapes how they process conflict, heavily outweighing digital simulation.
Poverty and Neighborhood Crime: Peer-reviewed consensus shows that high-crime neighborhoods, poverty, and local gang presence are structural drivers of youth violence. In prospective longitudinal studies published in PubMed, researchers tracking adolescents over time found that neither video game violence nor television violence predicted serious acts of youth aggression when socio-economic variables were controlled.

National Institutes of Health (.gov)
Peer Groups: Peer selection plays a major role. Aggressive children naturally seek out aggressive friends and violent media. Studies indicate that a child's real-life social circle has a much higher impact on encouraging delinquency than the online matchmaking lobbies of video games.
3. Individual Traits and Mental Health

Factors
How a child responds to a video game depends almost entirely on their pre-existing psychological makeup.
Personality Vulnerability Matrix: Research published by the American Psychological Association (APA) highlights that violent games only increase hostility in children who possess a highly specific personality matrix: low agreeableness, low conscientiousness, and high emotional reactivity (easily angered). For children outside this matrix, gaming shows no negative behavioral impact.
The Role of Depression and ADHD: A targeted study on vulnerable populations (children with clinically elevated ADHD or depressive symptoms) published in Springer Science found no correlation between violent game usage and subsequent bullying or delinquent behavior. The underlying mental health condition itself drives the emotional dysregulation, not the media consumed.

Direct Link to Real-World Violence / Crime Peer-Reviewed Research Finding
History of Family Violence Yes (Strong) Directly models physical aggression and reduces empathy.
Pre-existing Depression / Antisocial Traits Yes (Strong) Distorts emotional regulation and increases real-world hostility.
Peer Group Delinquency Yes (Moderate) Socially reinforces and normalizes real-world criminal behavior.
Violent Online Games No (Negligible) Only predicts mild, non-criminal aggression (e.g., loud language, competitive frustration)
