With heavy hearts, we humbly ask for your support for the family of our beloved Former SK Chairperson of Barangay Daliaon Plantation, Hon. Joland Mark T. Paler, who recently passed away.

Joland was not only a dedicated youth leader and public servant, but also a friend, a brother, and an inspiration to many young people whose lives he touched. His sudden passing has left a deep pain and an emptiness that words cannot describe.

At this difficult time, his family is facing the burden of funeral expenses and other necessary costs. Any amount, no matter how small, will be a great help and a meaningful gesture of love and support to his family.

It has come to our attention that rumors continue to circulate and negative remarks have been made against the Officers of Toril District regarding our non-participation in the Power Dance competition last August 4, 2025 in the Citywide Linggo Ng Kabataan 2025 held at Rizal Park, Davao City.

We would like to clarify that the decision not to pursue our entry was not due to a lack of support from the officers or the district, but rather due to a miscommunication that unfortunately affected the process.

From the beginning, it was communicated that the district could not shoulder all the expenses for the event, as there is no allocated budget for this in our approved annual plans. What we were able to offer came from solicited funds and personal contributions of the officers and some of the SK Chairpersons, which were intended to cover only the most essential needs, specifically the snacks and the venue for their practices.

To those individuals who have been spreading false accusations and making defamatory remarks against us, please be informed that we have documented and taken screenshots of all such messages.

We take these actions seriously and are prepared to pursue necessary steps under the law. Cyber libel and online defamation are punishable offenses under the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012 (RA 10175). Let this serve as a reminder that freedom of speech does not give anyone the right to tarnish the reputation of others without a basis.

We will no longer tolerate such behavior. As elected youth leaders, we remain committed to transparency, accountability, and respectful dialogue, and we expect the same from the public we serve.
