Incident transpired at around 9:00PM of May 31, 2016 along Governor Pack Road, Baguio City. Victim identified as Rodolfo Lomboy, 21 years old born on December 13, 1994, statement of the victim he was walking along Gov. Pack Road Ext, Baguio City going to Crown Legacy Hotel, Kisad Road, Baguio City when along his way he passed by 3 male person while the other male is urinating at the side of the road and punched him on his face, the victim then tried to fight back but the alleged suspect got his Polo Jan Sport Bag (Violet in Color) containing the following items: Diploma, Passport, Resume, Certicates, Assorted ID's, receipts, Cell phone (Skk) gold in color worth Php5,000 and cash amount Php.400. After which alleged suspect run towards the direction of Governor Pack Road Bus Terminal.

Colored Soft Broom Industry
Burgos, La Union
Colored soft brooms were introduced in the Municipality of Burgos, La Union in the year 2003 by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) to the Upper Tumapoc Multi-Purpose Cooperative, INC. at Barangay Upper Tumapoc, Burgos, La Union. This unique and artistic kind of soft broom gained the attention and interest of many, creating demand that can hardly be met by the cooperative members.
In 2005, production of colored soft brooms has expanded to Barangay Bilis, but still supply cannot meet demand. In this regard, LUVWI, the association of women in Burgos hopes to gradually institutionalize the production of colored soft brooms in the entire municipality. This colorful product goes through a series of technique to assure that the inflorescence of the ordinary tiger grass will be evenly colored. Using an imported dye from Germany, it takes 4 days to perfect the color until it is dried. This process assures that the colors will not fade and will not affect the sturdy quality of the Burgos tiger grass.
To sustain the demand of colored soft brooms, the municipality allotted funds for livelihood assistance and skills training have been conducted to other barangays. Data showed that four barangays (Lower Tumapoc, Upper Tumapoc, New Poblacion, and Bilis) with an estimated number of 100 farmers engaged in colored soft broom making.
One of the major challenges in the beginning is the marketing of this colored soft broom. However, through series of marketing strategies and promotion campaigns, our product is now widely distributed to various local and international buyers.
