An added attraction to Manawa Beach—a mural painted on an exterior wall in the resort featuring its unique landmark: a montage of a lighthouse, a tower built on rock formations at the beachfront and a surreal underwater scene teeming with marine life swirling around the Manawa Beach and Buen Camino logos; the former a memento of three hard working siblings and their families who from humble beginnings worked together to make Manawa Beach what it is today, and the latter a marker representing the walk of faith that one of the three siblings makes every year as thanksgiving for a lifetime of blessings. A testament to God’s glory and wonder!

Manawa Beach is at the center, the hub that connects you to the several attractions both in nature, whether it’s the mesmerizing whale sharks in Oslob, the sprawling mangrove reserve flanking it as if reaching for you under the sun, the stars and the bright moon, and the spiritual and historical—southern Cebu is a bastion of Christianity and home to one of the oldest churches in Asia.

Manawa Beach is located in Daang Lungsod, Alcoy, Cebu. 'Manawa' comes from a New Zealand/Maori word meaning 'Mangrove'. Manawa Beach is part of a Mangrove nature reserve.

Easily accessible by car or bus and with ample parking space. We take pride in maintaining the beach's clean and quiet atmosphere. Rich marine life and breathtaking views abound. Each of the five private rooms accommodate two people with free breakfast, with one (1) bathroom and one (1) bedroom furnished with two beds, but can extend up to three more guests with a small addition of only Php1,000.00 (breakfast not included).

Day rentals of the five large cottages are also available at Php700.00 each that can accommodate up to eight guests at Php100.00 per head (children seven years and above are considered guests, infants are free of charge.)

Unique to Alcoy, and perhaps the rest of the Central Visayan beach resorts, is the lighthouse of Manawa Beach--a thirty-foot high bastion of limestone, adobe and concrete that rises upwards from the white sands of the beachfront lending guests a vast, unmatched mesmerizing 270º view of the open sea on higher ground.
