Job Vacancy!
Naturally Wood is looking for an experienced furniture spray painter/finisher.
We are looking for someone who is experienced with water based paints as well as 2 pot & also other finishing techniques. We make new wooden furniture as well as some restoration work and a lot of other unusual jobs so it is never boring.
We need someone who can work well in a team as well as independently, can use their initiative and follow instructions.
This is a full time position with a starting pay range between $30-$35per hour.

We were working in a childcare center last week and saw this art bench unit that we made for this center almost 20 years ago and it is still in great condition.

A client asked us to paint their 1950's piano white and it has come out amazing! It looks like a different piano the results are fantastic!

Here are two more examples of work we have done recently.
We made the book shelf out of macrocarpa, it was custom made for the client to fit in with the décor of their home. It looks fantastic!
This old rocking chair needed some repairs, we were able to carefully pull it apart and clean it up, then re glue it like new.

We are very excited to have Ian our painter back after a very long recovery from back surgery! This stunning rimu unit was Ian's first job back and he has done an amazing job.

I have 3 Brown Shaver chickens we want to rehome. Not sure how old they are. We have a rat infestation and need to remove the chickens so we deal to the rats! Pm me if interested, they need to be gone by the 3/1/24

Help the Waiuku Foodbank!

Christmas is getting closer and we only have until Monday 18th Dec to collect as much food as possible. Last year the foodbank handed out over 50 Christmas food packages to struggling Waiuku families and we all know that this year will be even worse.

Preferred food items are frozen chickens, eggs, tinned fruit, jellies, margarine and Christmas yummies.

Food donations can be dropped off at Naturally Wood, 16 Martyn St. Mon-Thur 7.30-5pm and Fri 7.30-3pm, pm me if you want to drop off outside these hours or over the weekend.

We are still collecting food items for the Christmas food drive, we are looking for tinned fruit, frozen chickens, margarine, eggs, jelly and of course Christmas yummies.

Food can be dropped off at Naturally Wood, 16 Martyn St, Waiuku any time from Mon-Thur 7.30am-5pm, Fri 7.30am-3pm and over the weekend by arrangement. Last day for drop off is Monday 18th. Every little bit helps a lot!

The Waiuku Foodbank needs help! Last year the Waiuku Foodbank handed out over 50 Christmas Food Packages to struggling families and they are expecting this year to be even worse.

There are 3 ways you can help:
1. We will be about in town selling raffle tickets and there are 4 prizes to be won.
2. Make a donation on our Give a Little page
3. Drop off food items to Naturally Wood, 16 Martyn St. Mon-Thurs 7.30am - 5pm, Fri 7.30am-3pm and weekends by arrangement.

Food items needed are frozen chickens, tinned fruit, jelly, eggs and of course Christmas yummies.
