IndistrucTables Solid Pine Picnic Tables!!
0225130685 I designed and built these picnic tables from lessons learned working for Auckland Council.

I was constantly repairing the picnic sets in our parks and reserves and decided to build new, much stronger tables to last for at least 25 years out in the open. I source all my timber from my local timber mill in Whenuapai. They mill from from sustainable pine plantations. The leg assemblies are made from notched H5 pressure treated Pine to accept the H3.2 cross members, All joints are glued an

d bolted or nailed with 125mm nails for maximum longevity even in the harshest environments. I select the smoothest lengths for the table top and benches, paying close attention to the natural bends of the timber to create the smoothest tops possible with such heavy timbers
All my tables come finished with Wattle Forestwood Deck and Furniture Oil. I have found this to be a excellent product that protects the timber and adds colour to timber but allows the grain to show through
