Wiggly design of the next floor light.
Recycled Meranti (the darker timber) have a beautiful shimmer that the camera can't catch.
The lighter timber is Totara and the line zig zagging it's way along is macrocarpa.
I wanted to finish it this week but it will have to wait.
I'm lucky to go and spend the weekend with my awesome daughter in Melbourne. Drink a little and eat a lot with my favorite (and only) child.

This morning I decided to take the smallest of the "fleet" to work. Haven't rode "Hilda" for almost a year.
'She' is a very entertaining ride.
But lack of use means that this Suzuki will likely be on the market soon...

I'm going to take part in Otautahi Made winter expo in June. I decided to build some stuff for this event.
This is the first item, a narrow cross wall piece made from walnut and Siberian larch (both local reclaimed timber).
