Chatswood Kitchens has been designing, manufacturing, and installing kitchens since 1982 here on the Kapiti Coast. Owner Gareth Williams created the company on his personal values of crafting beautiful things to make people happy and to deliver quality work at affordable prices. Today Chatswood ticks the boxes of a wide range of kitchen buyers as well as a range of joinery items including wardrobes, vanities, and more.

Every home is different, and so is every kitchen.

For this project, the brief was clear: create a kitchen that felt open and spacious while providing plenty of practical storage and workspace for everyday life.

By incorporating a generous bench top, full-height cabinetry, and a thoughtful layout, every centimetre of space was put to work without compromising the light, airy feel of the room. The warm timber look over-cupboards add character and softness, creating a space that is both highly functional and inviting.

This project transformed an existing bedroom into the ultimate scullery, complete with a hidden door seamlessly built into the cabinetry.

Designed to maximise every inch of space, this hardworking room features generous drawers, open shelving, a second sink, and even an additional fridge to keep the everyday mess tucked away.

Hushed Pine cabinetry paired with drawers in Orion Grey and warm brass .ltd handles creates a space that feels earthy, calm, and inviting while still remaining bright and open.

A space cleverly designed by to hide away the mess behind bifold doors and Merivobox drawers, bringing practicality into a beautifully refined space.

To maintain the smooth, uninterrupted lines, a handleless look was achieved through the craftsmanship of beveled plywood detailing paired with push-to-open mechanisms from .

Integrated LED lighting highlights the warmth, textures, and tones throughout the joinery, while the Domus profile seamlessly integrates into the plywood for a clean and considered finish.

Complete with inner drawers for extra organisation, concealed storage solutions, and thoughtful hardware throughout. Proving the best kitchens are all about the details ✨

This beautiful kitchen, designed by Dress My Nest and Landmark Homes Wellington recently won the TIDA NZ Group Home Builder Kitchen of the Year.

From the craftsmanship behind every cabinet to the finishing details installed onsite, this project is a reflection of what can be achieved when great design and quality manufacturing come together.

We’re proud to have worked behind the scenes to manufacture and install the cabinetry that helped bring this vision to life - all built right here in our factory.
