Learning every day! So apparently in Chinese mythology, Peach wood is used to ward off evil. So this just adds another beautiful layer to the Kawakawa leaf earrings hand carved from Peach wood. Xx

The Kawakawa leaf represents so much! Born of love and sorrow, the Kawakawa was sent to heal the broken heart of Papatuanuku (Earth Mother) after she was violently separated from Ranganui (Sky Father).
