Renovating a Lockwood home comes with its own unique design considerations. The key is making the most of the space while working with the character that's already there.
For this kitchen, we focused on three things:
1️⃣ Work with existing timber: Rather than competing with the warmth of the Lockwood interior, the green cabinetry and oak details complement the natural timber throughout the home.
2️⃣ Take cabinetry upwards: When floor space is limited, look vertically. Thoughtfully planned cabinetry gives you more storage without making a small kitchen feel overcrowded.
3️⃣ Keep benchtops uninterrupted: By incorporating clever storage solutions for everyday kitchen essentials, we were able to free up valuable workspace for a client who loves to cook.
A small footprint doesn't have to limit what you can achieve.
