Studio Drijfveer We create fun and practical products for your space. For us, wanting to design, build and sell fun and practical products is what drives us.

Studio Drijfveer is a small design studio based in Amersfoort, The Netherlands. 'Drijfveer' is Dutch for 'what brings you to do something'. Products that we love and think you will enjoy too. We do everything ourselves - the designing, selling and even packaging. We have a small workshop in our apartment, which we try to keep as organized as possible but is often an organized mess. We create minim

alistic products but most importantly functional products, that brighten up any space; less is more. Everything we create is made in small batches, resulting in limited numbers. Small batch production allows us to produce small runs of the designs and easily make adjustments. Another reason we like small batch production is for its sustainability. We're big fans of 3D printers because they reduce the risk of waste. All the Paper Roller parts are printed by our 3D printer, which we built ourselves. The material used is PLA, a biodegradable plastic.

We hebben enkele eiken messenblokken met een klein foutje op voorraad! Er is een afmetingsfout gemaakt bij het boren van de gaten aan de achterkant van het messenblok. Daar is dus eigenlijk niets van te zien, maar ze voldoen gewoonweg niet aan onze kwaliteitsstandaard.
Daarom mogen deze messenblokken voor een goede prijs weg, namelijk €50,- (normaal €70,-)

Our products include a little instruction booklet to make the installation easier. It's also good to know that our signs are delivered to you blank which means that you'll still need to apply a vinyl decal of your design on it. You can easily purchase one online and apply it yourself (but do watch some tutorials first 😉) or just go to your local signwriter and they will take care of it for you! All knife racks are produced, oiled and packed by us. The oak- and walnut wood comes from a local wood supplier and the keyhole slots (the mounting system on the back of a knife rack > swipe) are 3D printed using PLA, a biodegradable plastic made from crops such as corn and sugar cane.

Today we are picking up a new load of wood from our wood supplier and then we will get to work to get new orders out the door.
