SHOP GIST FOR TODAY
A customer came to change his charging port today.
I told him my price. He said he just fixed it few days ago at a cheaper amount.
I calmly explained to him that not all repairs are the same. The quality of charging port, the workmanship, and the finishing matter. That’s why some repairs last… and some don’t.
He agreed and told me to go ahead.
After I finished the job neatly and properly, he now brought out the cheaper amount he claimed he paid the last time.
I smiled and politely told him,
“That’s not my price, sir. Please balance it.”
When he realized I was serious and not ready to compromise quality for underpayment, nobody advised him before he completed the balance.
